Services | Valley Veterinary Emergency & Referral Center

 

Valley Veterinary Emergency and Referral Center (VVERC) is fully equipped and staffed to provide your pets with emergency / critical and specialty care during their time of need. Our current services include emergency / critical care, specialty surgery (VSC) and oncology (VVO). We are planning on expanding our services to include internal medicine, opthamology, dermatology and cardiology in the future. 

The Valley Veterinary Emergency Referral Center (VVERC) services offered:

  • Computed Radiology
  • Specialized Surgical Procedures
  • In-house Clinical Pathology Diagnostic Capabilities
  • Ultrasound Imaging
  • Intensive Care Hospitalization
  • Blood Gas Analysis and Oximetry (Oxygen Therapy)  
  • Noninvasive Blood Pressure Measurement (Doppler and Oscillometric)
  • Blood and Plasma Transfusions
  • Anesthetic Respiratory Ventilator
  • EKG (Telemetry)

Veterinary Surgical Center (VSC) is a progressive veterinary referral practice within VVERC. VSC consists of board-certified surgeons, a neurologist, a certified rehabilitation practitioner and residents in surgery along with a highly trained and compassionate staff.   


The Veterinary Surgical Center (VSC) services offered are:

 

  • Orthopedic Surgery
  • Neurology / Neurosurgery
  • Soft Tissue Procedures
  • Minimally Invasive Surgery
  • Physical Rehabilitations
  • Post-surgical care provided by VVERC


Valley Veterinary Oncology, P.C.
  (VVO) is an independent specialty practice located within VVERC.  It is the goal of VVO and Dr. Rogers Fred III to provide compassionate individualized cancer care for patients as well as support and availability for their owners. Their aim is to involve the referring veterinarians in the treatment of their patients to the extent that they want to participate. Shared knowledge and skill are very important in the treatment of cancer, as is the comfort and trust of both the patient(s) and their owners.


Valley Veterinary Oncology services offered:

 

  • Consultation Services (Medical and Radiation Oncology)
  • Cytology Interpretation (In house or Referral)
  • Chemotherapy
  • Emergency services provided by VVERC

Every Saturday Hampshire County Pet Adoption Program will be at the PetSmart in Winchester every Saturday from 11 – 4. Dogs are available for adoption.
